Auxiliary current transformers are installed at the lower part of or near the junction box of each auxiliary motor. It is used to detect the change of the running current of each auxiliary motor.
When the protected motor has overcurrent, single-phase locked-rotor, and short-circuit faults, the current change of the measured motor is fed back to the auxiliary protection device for processing,
and appropriate emergency measures are taken to protect the auxiliary motor.
