Two sets of independent AC860V power supply windings are set in the HXD3C locomotive traction transformer. The DC 600V power supply device rectifies and filters the AC voltage output by the power supply windings into DC 600V to supply power to the train. Each locomotive has two independent power supply cabinets, each with a rated capacity of 580 kVA. The main circuit adopts a phase-controlled rectifier circuit (half-controlled bridge), and the output terminal outputs 600 V DC with high precision and low harmonic content through the LC filter circuit. The power supply device can be roughly divided into two parts: control and electrical. The control part is mainly the control box, and the rest is the electrical part.
The core technology of HXD3C electric locomotive DC600V train power supply device is in the control box, which completes the control of DC600V output voltage, input overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and output undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent and other protection functions. The operating status of the system can be displayed on the main driver's console TCMS display.
